MIDDLETOWN, NJ — The Situation will most likely be found hanging around Middletown a lot more now.
That’s because the wife of “Jersey Shore” alum Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino announced on her Instagram page this week she will open a women’s clothing boutique on Rt. 35 in Middletown.
The store will be called Bijoux Boutique and it will be located in the Livoti’s shopping center, 1141 Rt. 35 in Middletown, between the Wahoo’s and TJMaxx.

The boutique is owned by Sorrentino’s wife, Lauren Sorrentino. She said it will open sometime in April; an exact date was not given. Here’s the website for what her store sells: https://bijouxboutiquenj.com/
The couple has two young children, and live locally in this area. After he and other castmates on the show “Jersey Shore” drank heavily, and blamed alcoholism on legal and financial troubles, Sorrentino has been sober for several years now. He credits that — plus his marriage to Lauren and fatherhood — for his happiness in life.
