LOS ANGELES, CA — Police are looking for a pair of gunmen who shot a baby in South Los Angeles Monday evening.
Investigators at the scene said a child who appeared to be about 1 year old was struck by gunfire and rushed to a hospital in unknown condition, said Los Angeles Police Department Officer Melissa Podany.
Officers responded to a report of a shooting at 81st Street and Avalon Boulevard shortly before 5 p.m., said Podany. KNX reported that the suspects fired several rounds into the Monster Burger restaurant at the location.

Two suspects — a 20-year-old man in a black jacket and another man in his mid-20s wearing a gray jacket — were last seen headed southbound on Avalon Boulevard in a silver Kia Optima with a Texas license plate, she added.
One shooter had an unknown .40 caliber handgun, and the second had a 9mm.

The suspects are considered armed and dangerous. Anyone who sees the gunmen or with information about the shooting was urged to call 911. Anonymous tips can be called in to Tipsters at Crime Stoppers at 800-222- 8477.
