ELMHURST, IL – In its first meeting in a month, the Elmhurst School District 205 board on Tuesday plans to vote on what appears to be two employee disciplinary issues.
In one case, the board is set to decide on adopting a resolution for a “notice of remedy” against an employee. Such a notice is a written reprimand in which an employee is warned about a possible firing next time.

In the second instance, the board plans to vote on a “withdrawal of disciplinary action.” This appears to be for an employee because the school board is holding an earlier closed session about specific personnel matters, not issues involving student discipline.

Also at the meeting, the board is set to vote on a settlement with Service Employees International Union CTW Local 73. It is in response to a union grievance.
The district provided no details about the issues.
