ENFIELD, CT — A two-vehicle collision involving a mini-motorcycle on Route 190 in the Scitico section of Enfield Monday night resulted in the death of the bike operator and police searching for the other involved vehicle, which fled the scene.

The crash took place just before 8 p.m. on Hazard Avenue and Water Street. Police said CPR was administered to the motorcyclist, who has not yet been identified, but who was pronounced dead.

A segment of the roadway between Water Street and Glen Arden Lane was closed during an investigation by the Enfield Police Department Traffic Division and the regional Metro Traffic Services, Police Chief Alaric Fox said.
