GLENVIEW, IL — A 59-year-old Glenview man has been charged with 11 counts of possession of child pornography images of victims under the age of 13, as well as one count of possession of child pornography video of victims under 13, according to Glenview police. Bruce Claver, of the 3000 block of Knollwood Lane, was arrested Thursday and remains in the Cook County Jail.

On Friday, police said Claver was taken to the Skokie Courthouse for a detention hearing, where his previous pre-trial release conditions were revoked.

On Wednesday, Claver was taken into custody in the 1900 block of Glenview Road for investigation following the results from an executed search warrant from a Dec. 11, 2023, arrest.

This marks Claver’s fourth arrest since 2022. His previous charges include:

Claver is not currently listed on the Illinois Sex Offender Registry.

Glenview detectives conducted the investigation with assistance from the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force and the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office, according to a Friday afternoon news release.
