TARRYTOWN, NY — For one night only, Goosefeather in Tarrytown will be spotlighting wines from Burgundy and Bordeaux during a four-course tasting menu.
The French Wine Dinner will be held from 6:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. Wednesday, April 24.
What is sure to be an unforgettable culinary and wine experience is being made possible through the restaurant’s partnership with Wilson Daniels, a family-owned luxury wine importer that represents a portfolio of distinctive wines and spirits.

According to Goosefeather’s owner Chef Dale Talde, guests will be able to enjoy a four-course tasting menu with wine pairings from Domaine Laroche, Domaine Faiveley, Chateau des Laurets and Chateau Rieussec.
Talde told Patch that he wanted to have a little fun with the menu and go a more unexpected route.

“While it’s rooted in French technique, I had to put the Dale Talde spin on it,” he said.
The menu features some Vietnamese flavors and Chinese flavors, Talde explained.
“It’s bright, it’s bold, and it’s a cultural fusion that we know will pair beautifully with the wines we’ve selected to spotlight,” he said.

First Course
Bánh Mì Charcuterie Platter with Cured Meats, Pate, Vietnamese Style Pickles, Spicy Aioli, Butter, Baguette, Herbs
Paired with Domaine Laroche ‘Saint Martin’ Chablis 2022
Second Course
Mussels Meunière, Crispy Hong Kong Noodles with Shaoxing Lemon Butter, Chili Crisp
Endive Salad with Chinese Sausage, Spiced Walnuts, Shallot Vinaigrette
Paired with Domaine Faiveley Mercurey Rouge 2021
Third Course
Shaking Ribeye of Beef and Pomme Frites with Vietnamese Savory Caramel, Shallots, Pomme Frites
Dry-Aged Duck L’Orange with Chinese Mustard, Pomme Purée
Paired with Château des Laurets, Puisseguin Saint-Emilion 2017
Dessert
Chocolate-Soy Cremeux with Hazelnuts, Raspberries
