ELMHURST, IL – The Elmhurst school board last week upgraded the titles of seven top officials, calling the changes “reassignments.”
The board did not release the salary numbers, so Patch sought the information through a public records request.
The official with the biggest raise is Katie Lyons, who is set to receive nearly $24,000 more next school year, moving from $144,900 to $168,500.

Her title is changing to assistant superintendent of learning and teaching, from executive director of elementary education.

Last summer, Patch reported on the salaries of the 40 highest-paid employees in the 2022-23 year. Superintendent Keisha Campbell topped the list at $256,147.
