FRANKFORT, IL — Superintendent R. Scott Tingley is set to serve the District for several more years, after the Lincoln-Way District 210 Board of Education approved an employment agreement for Tingley until 2028.

At Tuesday’s board meeting, the Board approved the agreement for the period of 2024-2028, and said that Tingley has met all performance goals.

The Board had previously approved a contract with Tingley through 2027.

District spokesperson Jennifer Vujosevic told Patch that Tingley will be eligible for retirement at the end of the 2027 school year, and he plans to retire at the end of the 2028 school year.

Tingley has served as superintendent of the district since 2012. He was previously the principal of Lincoln-Way East.

According to Board documents, the superintendent’s base salary for the 2024-25 school year will be $242,097. The base salary will increase by 3.5 percent each year from the most immediate previous contract year.
